Lose The Weight
By John Scott
Whatever you read about acomplia and weight loss, there is one constant. Acomplia on its own cannot reduce your weight. It is designed to work alongside a low-calorie diet and physical exercise. So what kind of activity should people adopt?
The idea of exercise for weight loss conjures up all kinds of different images. Although the main motivation for losing weight will be to improve overall health, body image grows in importance. Men tend to fantasies about pumping iron, harking back to their late teens when they were proud of their muscles. Underneath that bulging waistline lurks the old six-pack. The idea of weight training feels right. It will build up strength and endurance. They will feel like real men if they can bench press a few more pounds each visit to the gym. Women think about toning their muscles rather than going for the full Schwarzenegger look. This rules out the circuit training through several pieces of weight-training equipment and suggests aerobic exercise.
Who is right?
There are benefits to weight training but, on its own, it will do little to help you lose weight. The problem is that working out with weights is not usually aerobic. To be effective, the exercise must raise the heart rate significantly for not less than twenty minutes in any one session. The need is to burn calories, not to build muscular strength which, ironically, can cause a weight gain. Thus, either instead of weight training or alongside it, you should ride a bicycle, swim, jog or walk vigorously. The aim is to burn more calories than you consume. With a low-calorie diet and acomplia to help you feel less hungry, you should lose weight quite quickly.
One of the "weak" points when you are carrying more weight is the knee joint. The additional pressure can cause pain which makes you prefer the more static weight-training exercises. You need to discuss an exercise regime with someone who specializes in sports injuries. There are a number of exercises you can do which will help to strengthen the joint and reduce the pain. This involves stretching before and after exercise and perhaps wearing a brace while you exercise. If you are working out in a gym, make sure that you are using all the equipment properly. It may be useful to hire a personal trainer to learn a full range of exercises that will avoid any further damage to your knee. This means using the low-impact equipment of stationary bicycles, stair steppers, etc. working up to using a treadmill.
Whatever you do, be realistic. You cannot suddenly break world records for endurance. Begin with low levels of activity and only slowly increase the pace. If you start off too hard, you are likely to become stiff and sore. This will undermine your motivation. It may be a good idea to start off in a swimming pool. This builds up your strength without straining your knees although note that swimming itself is not a good way to lose weight. Once you have toned up your muscles, you can then begin a more serious course of aerobic exercise. In general, you should exercise at least three times a week. This, in combination with a reduction in the amount you eat, should see a real improvement in your health and a reduction of the risk of diabetes and heart disease. The most recent results from clinical trials shows people using acomplia losing visceral adipose fat and significantly improving the lipid levels in the blood stream. So reducing the carbohydrates in your diet and burning calories through aerobic exercise produces the optimum result for better health.

All the folders in USB drive are hidden. But Files are visible. How to make folder visible?
Folder Options -> 'Show hidden files and folders' already checked. Both 'hide extn for known file types' and 'Hide protected Operating System Files(Recommended)' are unchecked. Only when they are unchecked, the folders are visible but are greyed out like hidden. When I right click and check attribute, readonly and archive are enabled but hidden attribute is checked and disabled. When new folder was created, it automatically changed to hidden. I have run antivirus software and removed 3 viruses. Now am able to create folder properly. It is not hidden but old folders hidden attribute is still disabled. This happens to folders in USB drive only. Please help.
Answer
Sounds like some weird inheritance or system protection. But you can try the old attrib.exe program. So, suppose your USB drive is drive E. Start... Run... cmd(this opens a DOS box) cd e:(this switches to the USB drive) cd\(this switches to the root dir of the E: drive) attrib -h . /s /d(this flips off the hidden flag for every file and folder on the drive. You may need admin rights.)If you get some Access Denied error, then the OS (or a virus) is preventing you from flipping the flag.To check things, use "attrib /s /d" to get a dump of all files and folders attributes.--N.

Environment and industry analysis:
Economy:
Although World Group has been involved in the diversified lines of business such as textiles, food-stuff, construction, commodities, but core business has always been automobile. Since at least the 1960 s, macroeconomics has been characterized by further integration as to micro-based modeling of sectors, including rationality of players, efficient use of market information, and imperfect competition. This has addressed a long-standing concern about inconsistent developments of the same subject. Macroeconomic analysis also considers factors affecting the long-term level and growth of national income. Such factors include capital accumulation, technological change and labor force growth.
Culture:
Culture that values an individual who successfully create a new business will spawn more venture formation then one does not so. Cultural changes account for people's core beliefs or values. How people view themselves, others, organizations, society, nature, and the universe all play a part in shaping one's culture. Companies need to take these principles into consideration when working in the market place
We will established our new venture in business area (Islamabad/Rawalpindi) where most of the people tend to have their own vehicle. In this culture we having more job opportunities, high value, and high rate of success and raising money. These factors are very helpful to develop a strong entrepreneurship.
Technology:
Being in a market that is rapidly changing due to the technologic development will require us to make carefully short term marketing decisions as well as to be prepared with contingency plan given any new technologic developments that may affect our product.
Legal:
In Pakistan there are many important legal issues in starting new business. We should be preparing for future legislation that may affect our product, channel of distribution, price and promotion strategy. Deregulation of prices, high rate of taxes and interest, restriction of media advertisement and safety regulation affecting the product or the example of legal restriction that can affect our business program.
Specific industry environment:
Future outlook:
Through indigenous technical resources and technical tie-ups with well-known global companies, the auto parts industry has by and large developed into a well-organized sector of the country. There will be a huge demand for automobile industry in coming years, which will boost up the auto spare parts industry as well.
Trend of industry:
Industry analysis begins with the broadest basis assessment of environmental industry trends. It proceeds to more local market environmental and industry trends including competition. We will need to complete industry analysis process of business plan for preparation of marketing plan. Currently, the auto parts manufacturing industry is not able to cater the increasing demand of automobiles in the country. For the 10% of the companies in the auto parts industry (organized sector only) who are currently engaged in exports because their products comply with international standards, it is possible to see potential for a further increase in their exports.
Growth Rate:
The automotive sector has posted a phenomenal growth during 2003-04 and 2004-05 in the wake of sharp increase in the demand of automobiles. It was noted that OEMs (original equipment manufacturing) and Vendors have made heavy investment during the last three years, which have helped them enhance their production
Government policies:
We should determine the government policies (Tax rates, utilities, trademarks, copyrights etc). An entrepreneur must aware of all the rules and regulations that are imposed by the government.
Government also supports the small and medium scale business by providing financial assistance to help them out to enhance the business capacity.
Competitor analysis:
We generally face potential threat from larger corporation; we must be prepare for these threads and should be aware of who the competitor is and what are their strength and weakness, so that an effective marketing plan can be implemented. We can be easily identified our competitor from experience, trade general articles, advertisements, websites and even the yellow page.
Market Segment of Venture Basis and Identification of Target Market:
A regular car industry started in the country in 1983, when Suzuki commenced production eyeing the small and LCV (light commercial vehicle) car segment of 800cc-1000cc range, and introduced Suzuki car which targeted the middle-income group (constituting the larger segment of the market) by providing an affordable car. Then there was a long gap until the early 90’s when Indus Motor Company was established to manufacture Toyota vehicles in Pakistan. Soon after Honda Atlas came with the Civic and Gandhara Nissan entered the market with Sunny. Some years later Dewan Motors set up a plant to manufacture Hyundai and Kia vehicles in Pakistan. Since then the market has changed all together, it also covers the high profile community in Pakistan, who have a high purchasing power to buy luxury vehicles.
Target Market
We should have good idea of who the customers are target market will be? We can determine the appropriate marketing action strategy by the knowledge of target market that will effectively meets its needs.
The main targets of Auto Parts Development activities for three to four years down the road are as follows:
· Development of long term vision, mission, regulatory policy and set clear direction for development of auto parts industry in the next 5 years
· Creating awareness regarding importance of forming networks
· Capacity building of entrepreneurs and trade associations

For Interview
HOW TO SIZE UP A MAN IN SIXTEEN MINUTES
Lon D. Barton, President Cadillac Associates, Inc., Chicago
You haven’t got unlimited time top interview job candidates. So you have to use shortcuts. Here is one shortcut – a set of eight basic questions to ask. The answers will give you a quick idea as to whether the man is tight for your company.
In this the age of the depth interviews, aptitude batteries and the Polygraph, are there shortcuts - indicators of character, drive and competence – that you can use to size up a man without resorting to stereotyped, inaccurate devices?
Yes, there are. In fact, asking a few questions, you can gain a clear picture of whether a candidate is suitable for your organization. You can reduce the number of basic questions to eight. If you figure on getting an initial answer from a candidate to each of these questions in one minute, then you can size up your man in eight minutes.
Is this a valid technique? I can only give you an empiric answer. It has worked for me in screening literally thousands of candidates for executive positions for which we have received job requisitions from a “blue look” of American industry.
What are the questions? Let’s look at them quickly first and them examine each one more carefully:
1. Which of the jobs listed on your resume did you like best and which least?
2. How did you get your jobs?
3. Why are you interested in a position with our company?
4. What are your plans – short range and long?
5. What job would you choose if you had the complete freedom to do so?
6. What are your major assets? Weaknesses?
7. What are your hobbies?
8. What was your father’s occupation?
Laboring the obvious?
Your first reaction to these questions may that they labor the obvious, that these are questions which any candidate should be asked. However, the evidence shows that corporations today are wasting thousands of dollars on personnel nostrums to help them make decisions when putting these eight questions together to develop a logical pattern of an individual’s fitness would do the job better - and save time and money too.
While looking at a man’s resume me, you have a chance to make your first judgments on him – his age, marital status and education; the number of jobs he has held over a given periods; the caliber of companies he has worked for; his progress with those companies (this is one of the most important “questions” of all); his appearance and some indication of his personality, articulation and social sense.
Now let’s take a closer look at the eight basic question. Running through all of them you will find one basic quality: each question should help you arrive at the objectivity and apparent honesty of the executive, which are major criteria in executive fitness. But let’s look at each one of specifically.
ZERO MINUTES
1. Which of the jobs listed on your resume did you like best and which least?
His answers here can give you specific areas where he can be of most value to you. If he is non-committal, if he likes all of them, you may have an indication of drive or the lack of it, or a lack of discrimination or planning for his own growth. It is normal to have preferences.
FOUR MINUTES
2. How did you get your jobs?
He may have obtained them through family connections. This in itself is not bad if the applicant is well qualified. His reply also will give you an indication of resourcefulness. Has he planned to get this type of job, and embarked on a definite campaign to obtain a particular job then he can be valuable to you in putting this imagination to work. Or did he just take if as a means to an end.
SIX MINUTES
3. Why are you interested in a position with our company?
Many men I interviewed candidly say, money. If this is the sole motivation, then I tend to pass over them. If a man can show research on your firm and why he feels working for you would be stimulating both for him and the firm, then he has passed one of my hurdles. This question is another attitude indicator. Answers to it will go a long way in developing your pattern of the individual.
EIGHT MINUTES
4. What are your plans – short range and long?
This is a major if not the most important question of my eight. Every executive should have definite plans for where he plans to be and what he plans to be doing one year from now, five and even ten years from now in a general way. Failure to be able to verbalize on this indicates that the man has not evaluated his own potential or his relationship with his chosen work. A definite plan will give you, the interviewer, a chance to see if his ideas mesh with those of your own, but I would give a man a plus just for having specific goals. Most men don’t.
TEN MINUTES
5. What job would you choose if you had the complete freedom to do so?
Here again we have a good indicator of suitability for your firm. I like imagination but this imagination should mesh with the realities of the man’s capabilities and what you can offer him in your company. The dreamer probably belongs in another echelon of your firm.
TWELVE MINUTES
6. What are your major assets? Weaknesses?
I once screened a man for an executive position with a top electronics firm. When I asked him about his weaknesses he looked me squarely in the eye and said, “I have none.” I happened to know that he was a heavy drinker. I don’t expect a man top reveal his inmost personal secrets to me,. But I do expect him to know his faults – whether it be a dislike for detail, sloppy dress or bad grammar. The man who is aware of his faults is making an honest effort to correct them and, more importantly, has shown insight and thought in evaluating his own situation. Assets should be stressed too as an indication of self-confidence.
FOURTEEN MINUTES
7. What are your hobbies?
This is a “fishing” question in several ways. It gives me the answers to a lot of othjer questions. You get a view of a man’s outlook on life and his aptitudes by talking hobbies. This is not a flat generealization, but it is surprising how many good engineers play chess or have other sedentary hobbies. Good salesmen tend to have more gregarious hobbies. They enjoy meeting people in their work and it shows up in their off hours activity.
SIXTEEN MINUTES
8. What was your father’s occupation?
Whether we like to face it or not, the age of the man born in a log cabin who becomes president is almost past. Many men exceed the professional stature of their fathers, but few exceed it very far and here is a good rule-of-thumb measure of executive potential.
The man’s attitude in answering this question will give other valuable clues to his total make up is he defensive about his father? Does he bewail his fate in not advancing farther than his father? Does he deride his father for being foreign born or for other ethnic or religious shortcomings? Does he alibi? He doesn’t belong with you.
These are my eight questions. But no one question or situation can give you the answers, just as no one aptitude test can tell you all you need to know about a man.
